This year, during Epiphany we are going to be looking for God in the world around us: how God was revealed to ancient people and how God is revealed to us. The framework for this conversation will be tv shows. We will see how God works through trauma, how God uses the impetuous, the overzealous, and a group of misfits.

This first week, Pastor Tara is going to be talking about Peter, but with the help of the Netflix show The Recruit. Just like the main character of the show, Owen, Peter doesn't know what he is doing half the time but he runs in with guns ablazing (metaphorically for Peter) and learns he goes, sometimes from his mistakes and sometimes with the help of others.
