Fall 2010 Food Drive
73 bags collected! (and still counting)
Our food drive culminated on the weekend of 11/13-11/14 and was very successful! Via contributions from church members and Inman Park neighbors, we have collected 73 bags--large paper bags (donated by Publix); many very full! It was a beautiful Fall weekend and numerous children participated.
The drive was done on behalf of the Intown Collaborative Ministries (ICM) Food Pantry.
The Intown Food Pantry is the emergency food program of Intown Collaborative Ministries. The Pantry is supported by congregations, individuals, businesses, and organizations in zip codes 30306 and 30307 and beyond. Their aim is to help alleviate hunger by providing nutritious food and social service information to those who need them. They also strive to give people opportunities for personal and spiritual growth through meaningful service.
