IPUMC Children’s Ministry
Here at Inman Park, we believe it is important to offer our children a variety of ways to CONNECT, GROW, and SERVE together in Christian community. We have something for all ages, starting with nursery for infants and toddlers up to more mature programs for elementary students.
Our children meet one Friday a month for a special night to CONNECT with a meal, games, crafts, and more! Childcare is provided by approved volunteers and babies are cared for by a paid nursery staff.
Children’s GROW Groups meet on Sunday mornings at 11 am. Our small group curriculum is designed around age-appropriate monthly themes.
Nursery (6 weeks through 3 years old): The Nursery provides a safe, loving environment where babies and toddlers experience God’s love through their caregivers and are introduced to the Bible.
Friends GROW group (roughly ages 3-5): Children will relate with Bible characters and see themselves in the Bible story. They will also begin to see themselves as Friends of Jesus.
Kids GROW group (1st-5th grade): Children will begin to understand the Bible stories, identify with characters, and apply faith-based actions to their own lives.
Our children and youth have hearts for serving others. We regularly participate in special planned activities that are inspired by our church’s commitment to homelessness, hunger, and children.
IPUMC adheres to our Inman Park United Methodist Church Child and Youth Protection Policy, a United Methodist Safe Sanctuaries Policy.
